Place to visit in Phuket – Wat Tham Suwan Khuha situated at Mu 2 Tambon Krasom around 9 kilometres from the town of Phang-nga in the Highway No. 4 (Phang-nga-Phuket route). At Km 30, there is a paved road to the right which leads 1 km from the temple.
Known as Wat Tham or cave temple or Buddha caves in Phang Nga , Wat Suwan Khuha is one of the province with important temple because of the historical and archaeological record. The Temple of Wat Tham Suwan Khuha nestled in the mountains with a series of caves like Tham Chaeng, Tham Muet and Tham Tham Kaeo Yai, which is lower than the level.
Decorated with tiles of ceramics and length all the glassware, the cave serves as a Wihan (Chapel), where multiple images of Buddha is enshrined. The most important is the reclining Buddha.
